Complex dynamic systems of predictable behaviour: High efficiency evolutionary organisation design and engineering (XXI century organisations).

To date, all post which I add to this blog (with the aim of acting as reference and as a reflection of the research, design and development projects which my team and I are currently progressing), I write about the applications of the intelligence systems and the dynamic guidance of my research and design work. Such dynamic is the research into structures, composition, design processes and creation of predictable dynamic complex systems. Complex systems are those that generate arising features, which had not been contemplated in the properties of the sub-systems which compose the final complex system. Complex systems exists in nature, evolve freely and on many occasions form in a chaotic fashion within organisations and human ecosystems, which are complex systems which are created and evolve in a completely unpredictable manner. In the case of the latter in an inefficient and incoherent way in relation to the its mission and interaction with the surroundings, it follows that a “complicated” system in its best possible configuration will maintain and boost the properties of the original subsystems which compose it, while a complex system will maintain and enhance the properties of the original subsystems as well as the emergence of new properties which will convert it into a different system, especially efficient and with the capacity to evolve.

Following the above mentioned premise my principal line of research is to introduce the predictability of improvement of the resulting systematic interaction of the original properties, the emerging properties of said interaction and apply this to the improvement of efficiency and evolutionary capability of human organisations, which from the design point of view are called Socio-Technical Systems. In this sense the addition of the prospect of being able to predict the behaviour of the resulting complex system, allows us to work on the pre-design of the properties and behaviour of the system which comprises it. This means that we can define normalized systems, which are coherently integrated with the established model, in relation to resulting complex properties and evolutionary capability allows us to deploy or regenerate human organisations by improving efficiency so as to fulfil the established mission and the capacity to evolve with the ecosystem in which it finds itself immersed.

The first results which appear under the classification COMPLEXITE- INS are in the form of methodologies and innovation model systems, that is to say, research, design engineering and development of COMPLEX PREDICTABLE BEHAVIOUR SOCIO-TECHNICAL SYSTEMS which if integrated coherently to the missions and objectives of the human organisation, which intend to create and start up, allows for the recurrent and incremental development of the systems which make up the resulting organisation and in the same manner, the properties, the organic and functional efficiency along with the capacity to adapt in the organisational environment. The Normalized Socio-Technical Systems called NOWIS are a continuous result of the process of improvement and creation. The NOWIS systems allow for the regeneration and creation of highly efficient intelligence organisations with relation to the task which they have to tackle independently of the initial components which will make up the organisation, that is to say people and systems, given that at the moment of commencement a process of evolution and system adaptation of realities of the individuals involved with regards to training, increase capabilities and progressively improvement, merging into a coherent setting with the systems and the necessities of the organisation matrix and surrounding environment. The aforementioned processes culminate when the organisation can continuously self- reference its capabilities, vulnerabilities and evolutionary necessities. This final characteristic supposes an explicit and implicit understanding of the composition, task at hand and setting, this capability we have denominated SELF-REPAIRING and SELF-CONSERVING.
